Detalles de la observación
Calling raucously and flying north with purpose. I stood at the intersection of Winding Woods Loop and Triple Treat as they flew over the forested area to the south, right above my head, and then over the ridge (Rattlesnake Ridge). It looked like they landed behind the ridge but later when I walked the ridge line I could not find them. It's possible they flew along the ridge and onward, out of the park. Although I did not get a picture, I was able to pull out Merlin real quick so it could catch their calling. I'm attaching that screenshot as further proof. I've seen and heard Pinyon Jays multiple times before, no doubt in my mind as to this ID.
