Detalles de la observación
Arrived to the coordinates provided by Steve and others. 33.72710° N, 117.94307° W Edana on location as I arrived. I initially heard a pink pink coming from the mesquite across the way from the pepper tree. The bird was found mostly on the small tree in front of the pepper tree. And the dead branches from brush along the fence. It normally says in the dense branches, coming out shortly ONLY to flush, so be quick with your cameras. Luckily, it seemed to be doing a loop around us as it was favoring the pepper trees. Actively singing and making flight calls. Actively foraging, often chased by OCWAs. Gray bird with beady black eyes. Pale eye ring noticeable. And rufous rump stands out on the very gray bird. County Lifer! Woohoo! Thanks Braxton for the find and others.
