3 Brewer's sparrows were observed in a flock of 8 sparrows. The other 5 sparrows in the flock were not seen clearly enough to identify. The 3 observed Brewer's lacked the dark lores of adult chipping sparrows and the breast streaks of juvenile chipping sparrows.
