This awful image came from a Pixel 8 Pro, set at 5x magnification, handheld. The phone's AI(?) has managed to render grey as a kind of brown, but the dark red patch on front of neck is at least visible.

Grey head and neck, fine texture/streaks at back of neck. White along waterline at front, becoming dark moving aft. White belly. Darker on back. Red patch at base of neck. Slight up curve to black bill. Seen at outlet of Duffins Creek; broke with my normal Simcoe Point protocol to get closer on east side of outlet. Bird 30m offshore; a truly wretched image from cellphone is attached.
