Almost unbelievably, bird reported yesterday by Daniel Reed seen well at less than 5m out front of house a few doors down from initial sighting. After randomly knocking on the door at the coords of the original report, amazingly Daniel answered and let us into his backyard for a look around. Bird was nowhere to be seen, but had been seen again earlier in the morning. So we did a lap of the block looking for it, only to return and have it fly in and land in a small spindly bush, where it provided great views for several minutes. Full credit to Daniel for the original sighting, and for being such a legend letting two random weirdos into his yard for a poke around.
