Detalles de la observación
1 male near the footbridge adjacent to the Prairie Loop at Cherry Creek State Park, Arapahoe Co. First reported by others on 12 June, and continuing. The bird sings persistently, and moves around among the various trees, usually east of the bridge but sometimes to the west. It often stays well within the leaves as it forages. At times it will remain on the same perch for up to several minutes as it sings or preens, and sometimes comes out into the open. It tends to forage and sing from the middle level of the trees, but at times goes lower or higher. It was also seen investigating a hole low down in the trunk of a tree next to the footbridge, going in and out of the hole several times. Photographs and audio recording of the song were taken.
