DIY microphone based on the PUI AOM-5024L-HD-R capsule. Plug -in power from a Deity D-XLR. Zoom F3. 80Hz high pass filter in recorder, 250Hz high pass filter applied using Audacity. -12dB/octave. Yesterday I tried to adjust the microphone to be better in the focal point/plane of the parabola for the first time in a few months. The result I got was a few mm different from before, and it seems to have made a difference. This recording is definitely better than I could have gotten with the ME67 shotgun mic.
