Continuing bird found by Dave Hawksworth yesterday. Rich chestnut brown back with intricately checkered wings. Splotchy off-white face and throat, blending into a light brown finely pattern chest and undersides. Heard vocalizing a two note chimp call repeatedly from the underbrush of the west edge of the ditch. Unable to get a noc-shot, but I’ll upload audio later. Continuing here: (34.9812623, -106.6853393)
