Heard call exactly like the one Frank Severson recorded a few days ago right on arrival. Met Frank a while later and we both thought we heard another vocalization. Just before dark, I saw a small heron fly into the South corner of the pond…did not get a good look. I waited near the pipe in the South corner for a while and a Least Bittern called right next to me.
