Found yesterday by Rodney McCollum. Adult bird in non breeding plumage. Smaller than BOGU, pale gray upperwing with white wingtips, striking black underwings with white border. Black ear spot and a shadow of a black cap, more pronounced than in BOGU. Was mostly actively feeding near the island west of the iron bridge, swooping a lot but also observed resting on the water and preening.
