Found by Tom Fangrow and scoped with him while it foraged in the grass with American Pipits. Sparrow-like bird with boldish rufous on its tertials and greater coverts, faint black streaks down its flanks, and a boldly patterned face with a buffy cheek and supercilium and strong black around the auriculars and malar. The whole flock disappeared about 10 minutes after I arrived and did not return for the next 30 minutes.
