Adult heard then seen in southwest corner of first pond. Later, two juveniles seen near northwest corner of first pond - both visible at the same time. One seen catching fish from low perch on reeds. White line on mantle near wing fold obvious, warm buffy-tawny streaking on throat. Pale side of face. White chin. Yellow eyes with dark ring around eye perimeter. Darker cap.
