Behavior and other notes: Adult male Yellow-rumped Warbler singing dawn song from firs and spruce trees. He was actively foraging during the first three cuts. During the last cut, he was perched and stayed still while singing. At 13:15 - 13:20 he gave a raspy trill series reminiscent of that given by Pine Warblers at dawn. I have not heard this species give the call before. Recorder HPF on at 80 Hz, -12 dB/octave.Channels: Mono. Distance to source: 15 meters. Recording Time: 0447 (UTC -6). Temperature 6.0°C.
