Initially saw two young birds and one adult sitting close together on the water and preening; two other young some distance away, and a second adult underwater most of the time. Adults had several aggressive interactions (lots of calling, chasing, and splashing), with one bird eventually flying away. By the time I left all four young were staying close to the remaining adult. Some of young were visibly different sizes (one in particular was quite small).
