Detalles de la observación
After dipping on the Yellow-throated Warbler (it’s hard to be sad about missing a county bird when one has just seen a Gray-cheeked Thrush). We decided to return for another visit with “The Thrush,” owing this decision to the possibility that it may be another 30 years before we see one in Marin again. The bird was absent for periods of time but would then but would seemingly materialize out of thin air and forage in the open along the path near the oven. Great looks and study. By the time we left, the entire peninsula was socked in fog, but we were buoyed by the experience with the GCTH. Pretty sweet! See checklist (https://ebird.org/checklist/S175659475) for more details. Submitted to CBRC.
