Um, sounded like a pig? I've heard this species clicking before, but never grunting, which is apparently something they do. One grunted extremely loudly, amplified by the the fact it came from under the boardwalk, almost echoing. I managed to watch it for a little bit, foraging on both sides of the boardwalk, calling occasionally. While watching it feed, a second rail was heard, but not seen.
