Detalles de la observación
Continuing bird. A sandpiper larger than the nearby Least Sandpiper, closer to the Ruddy Turnstones. Brown back, brown mottled bib, white belly with streaks on the flanks and yellow legs and feet. Brown head with a faint small white loral spot. Fairly long, bi-colored bill with an orange base and black tip. Seen feeding in the green growth on the rocks on the north side of the jetty hundreds of yards before getting to the 3-mile marker. In with turnstones, sanderlings and Least Sandpipers.
