Detalles de la observación
Stumbled upon an African Silverbill roost, which I assume has to be known. I'll double check eBird though. In the very northwest point of the Mauna Lani Resort, there is an open-air atrium planted edge to edge with small bamboo plants. The sound is what attracted me (audio recording attached). It's a wall of sound! They arrived in groups of 5 to 25 on average. The amount of birds was overwhelming. Very curious how many other species roost with them. I did hear a couple Munia calls. Conservative count. Wouldn't be surprised if it were twice this number. A couple terrible low light photos attached.
