Detalles de la observación
Continuing birds and very confiding. Started out foraging around the large island off the western side of the park but soon came in very close to shore offering fantastic looks and photos. Large and slim Juvenile Swans with light smoky gray plumage, although quite a bit slimmer and smaller than Mute, and Trumpeter swans. Long slim build with darker gray head and necks and bright triangular pinkish bills, with darker yellowish patches at the base. Larger than Canada’s with longer slimmer necks Quite vocal and curious with high pitched almost yapping calls to each other. Eventually preened and settled down for a nap on small rocky area close to the park. Very easy to find and put a great show. Photos incoming. Lifers!
