preening and scratching

Continuing birds, all in the same tree (the 4th bird was higher and more hidden than the other 3). They were mostly sleeping and occasionally preening and seemed unbothered by the small group of birders/photographers. I waited until after dark and they flew out of the tree to hunt. As they were waking up around sunset I'm pretty sure they made a quiet and unusual chittering type sound at least twice.
