Detalles de la observación

Must have just missed the AM presentation. Arrived on-site at approx. 1110 and checked picnic ground for a while. Around 1240 decided to work the "chat fields" as they were catching a lot of sun. Heard what sounded to me to be a very good note for a Ash-throated/Dusky-capped Flycatcher. Single syllable, repeated every 10 secs and easily stood out over the background noise. It was both in the tree line S of the picnic area, and then behind the old chat field. Never saw it there. Later (1340ish), staking out the pine trees from the open field/entrance side, larger bird flew into the birch next to the pine trees from the three median trees aligned to head back toward the hillside. The ATFL was in the birch for about 10 mins, and then started working its way through the 3 median trees headed for the hillside. The vocalized this same single syllable the entire time moving through the median trees. Only bird present. Failed at audio!. Decided to follow up hillside a ways, and captured these poor audios of the single syllables. 01 has a note at 3 secs and a lighter note at 9 secs. 02 has a note at 3 secs. In summary, the bird is best staked out in this known area of the picnic area, or can be located by call notes to have an idea where it might be. It seems at least to be traveling the circuit of the hillside and the chat fields when not in the picnic area.
