Largest count I could get in a single pass was 86. Once again spent several hours hanging out with the Pluvialis flock waaaaaay out in the mudflats. Counted 88 individuals from super close proximity, two of which were AMGPs. More BBPLs than in the last several weeks, but one less AMGP. Sharing some of these poorer pics with interesting behavior. As I was walking back to the car, this single BBPL was actively foraging for invertebrates in the footsteps I had created several hours earlier.
