Detalles de la observación
Three birds together at top of dead small tree, all silent and fairly lethargic. All somewhat backlit soon after sunrise, with colors distorted both in the field and in the photos. Eye-ring present but not bold, but little or no buff apparent in face. At the time I could see no reddish hue in any of the tails, but one of the photos seems to show a reddish cast. About a quarter mile from three calling Hermits. Treetop behavior makes Gray-cheeked the least likely of the three possible species, but if I would have to guess, it would be that they were Hermits.
