Detalles de la observación
WOW another beautiful find spotted by Loren and then tracked by both he and Sylvia. This bird was a bit more of a challenge to get good pics as it was frequently buried amongst the pine needles. It was in the same area as the Prothonotary Warbler but preferred the pines. It had a bright yellow throat and supercillium, gray head and 2 bold white wing bars. His back was gray and he had black streaking on the sides. White belly that clearly contrasted with the throat. This bird stayed in the same general area as the Prothonotary warbler until it suddenly took off toward the right past the end of the lake as you face the lake from the gate on lakeview drive. We did not refind this bird after that. Numerous pics obtained that were adequate for ID purposes.
