Detalles de la observación
Alycia Tieken first spotted this bird move from one small patch of low vegetation to another behind the old blue boarded up church in old town. I got on it quickly and saw that it was a Dusky Warbler. I managed to get a few photos as well. The bird flushed multiple times between sparsely vegetated patches in old town before losing it in the area around the pink house. The bird flighted up along the wall of the house and even landed in the old boat frame that was on the rack next to the house giving most people present good looks. Small Phyllloscopus warbler with an even dusky color on back and head, no wingbars, buffy undertail coverts and a brownish wash on the lower flank at the legs. Thin supercilium with a whitish eye crescent below the eye and a dark eye line. Photos show the details observed in the field as it moved about a patch of low vegetation for a good ten plus minutes often coming into view at the edge of the patch.
