Detalles de la observación
Continuing. First reported by Zane Fish and Ron Martin this morning and thanks also to Matt Spangler for extra effort of walking across the arm this afternoon. Medium-sized wader, brown with white neck streaking and white spots on body; long, thin, decurved bill. Flushed from New Hope Creek at 4:35 approximately here: (35.8654124, -78.9754199). It flew into Willow tree and called for a bit (Merlin call #3) allowing me to locate. Observed for about fifteen minutes, took some digiscopes, and then I went directly away so as to not disturb it further. If I were to do it again, I would proceed along trail to just before the culvert replacement and then bushwack to creek from there. My FoL.
