Far Eastern Curlew showing its substantial bill, streaked chest and flanks, and distinctive scapulars.
Detalles de la observación
The Far Eastern Curlew, first seen and identified yesterday, foraged widely across the mudflats, often flying and calling. It seemed to like the edge of the lake and small ponds, though occasionally ventured into the deeper grassy vegetation. Photos taken today and accompanying this checklist further serve to fully document this species.
