Detalles de la observación
Continuing from this morning found by Mike Andersen. The location is about 1/4 mile up the trail, where the trail first crosses the dry stream bed. This is the downstream point. This is where we found it tonight. Mike had it here and 500' upstream a bit later this morning. The bird was singing its bizz-buzz song quite a few times. I was able to get several good recordings of the song. Visually, the bird was very uncooperative, hiding deep in locust and oak shrubs on the western slope of the canyon. I did get one brief look, a yellow warbler with bluish-gray wings and thick white wingbars. Mostly we heard it sing.
