Possible Graceful Prinia from Al Qatif. Grayer plumage, tails relatively short and sometimes shown fanned, subterminal spots too large and distinct for Delicate and more rounded in shape, faint upper-tail barring, habitat appears to be a farm field versus reedy wetland. No acoustic evidence provided unfortunately. In terms of habitat, this area is characterized by farms divided by irrigation canals and pools of runoff with phragmite growth. The reeds are not as extensive as larger wetland spots in the wider region. Most farms contain fruiting trees, predominantly date palms. Al Qatif has been under cultivation for something like 5 millenia.
