pair of Cassin’s finches returned today, arriving with a large mixed flock that appeared high over the tree canopy from the north, and descended quickly into the yard. the Cassin’s were here for less than 5 minutes before moving on, they flushed with other birds and did not return. No Cassin’s seen yesterday. Monitored area all day yesterday and today, only the 1 brief visit.
