Detalles de la observación
Prion showing characteristics of Fulmar Prion most notably the bill. Thick at the base and appears short overall matching fulmar proportions. Face pale with steep forehead also typical of the species. I wonder if the bird is out of its normal area as well because ll of the many FAPRs are in non-molting/fresh staged plumage where this bird is showing extreme wear. The bird was by itself. Note that something is wrapped around the tarsus. Does not appear to be a band unless flags are being used somewhere (seaweed?) Location midway to the Auckland's and wonder if possible Lesser Fulmar.
