***Very rare. Male with female Redhead on log at west end of pond. Best look I have had at this combination. Very cool to see the mix of red and greenish-black on the head and neck. Other typical marks for this cross obvious as well, including large white band on bill, characteristically Ring-necked peaked head shape, dark gray/off-black back, and ghost of a white spur on the shoulder.
