Steady stream of large woodpeckers with pale pinkish undersides flying south towards Cinnamon Gap. Counted 1,066 individually but there were so many birds it was difficult and the window of sky wasn't very big. Based on this, 1,100 was estimated. This is probably an under estimate! Saw approximately 30 more flying up a side drainage a little bit after this count.
