NOTES: (Sex: ?probably male; Breeding stat:?probably territorial, ?breeding; Gen. climate: arid; Cover density: open; Stata: song perch) BNA: Typical Song is heard ("sweet-sweet-te-te-te--tt-tt-t-t-t"). CZ 11/05/2004. [This is the typical song of BNA, alternating between the "downslurred" trills (0:22, 0:50, 1:15, 1:27, 1:54, and 2:22) and the "upslurred" trills (0:11, 0:35, 1:03, 1:41, 2:10, and 2:32). At the very end of the recording is a series of "seep" calls, which although are quiet, are the only ones in the collection for this particular call type. This represents S. a. evura based on range; these songs differ noticeably from those in cuts recorded in both California and Arizona. Quality unchanged (1-2/1 - quiet wind [?] but little else in background) - CAM - 6 January 2005]. Habitat: Thicket/Brush, Scrub.
