Detalles de la observación
Far and away one of my favourite photos and birding experiences. A species that typically stays high in the canopy, we watched this Cerulean Warbler during peak mirgation in southern Ontario fly-catch low out of the undergrowth. At one point this bird hawked out to catch a fly, and flew a complete slow, tight fluttering circle around me, and returned to its foraging. I captured this shot about 15 minutes before sunset in peak golden hour. I think several birder's dreams came true this evening.
