****MEGA - only 10th record for MA and a life bird for me, only second record of an adult for the state ever| I discovered this bird at 11:33am perched about half way out "Dog Bar" jetty at Eastern Point; Got out of car and scanned breakwater with binoculars and spotted the bird almost immediately (10th bird); Small pure white gull with blackish legs and yellowish bill; I immediately called RSH as I set up my scope and James Restivo pulled up and I got him on it; We all called many birders and by the end of the day there were as many as 50 people who had seen it; It sat on the wall much of the time but also made several forays around the inner cove at Eastern Point affording AMAZING/STUNNING views; We put out several fish carcass fro Jodrey Fish Pier that it came down to and later fed hot dogs and bacon to it!!; It was seen until dark;
