Part of flock descending into White Spruce.
Detalles de la observación
Calling in flight - rapid ta-ta ta-ta & single wheezy piping notes. Not clear whistled notes as AMGO & no trilling as PISI would be. Flight silhouettes larger than those others would be but not by too much. Dark wings, pair of white wing bars bright yellow rump otherwise lighter, dark streaky yellow (F). Lighter red males. Feeding in White Spruce and also noted exploring Red Pine cones. High count at site 719.
