(as per pix crab wasnt letting go)
Detalles de la observación
Interesting obs. Voice to text..... initially saw double-crested cormorant and gull splashing around followed by double-crested Cormorant chasing the gull... I presume that the gull then dropped the crab which it had stolen initially from cormorant... out of focus Photo gull shows it grabbing crab and heading for Shore... Somehow ended up in a predicament where crab was hugging and holding on...gull tried to grab & dislodge but gave up...... From afar the bald eagle noticed & came in and I suppose tried to get the gull to drop said crab (as per pix crab wasnt letting go)and pursued the gull out over the water for some time... As far as I could tell it never did get the crab and I lost track of the gull.... so maybe crab got away ...or maybe they are still hugging it out????
