Continuing. Stays fairly well concealed in scrubby cover, hopping from brush pile to brush pile along the ground, making a distinctly loud noise as it moves. At one point it flew up into a shrub along the fence line. Seen near large cottonwood just off the road as others have noted. Tended to avoid the sparrows and juncos. 3:30.
