A distant pocket-camera photo just to memorialize this unusual sighting for this location; certainly not identifiable from this image (although it does give a sense of the distinctive eagle proportions).

Came in along the W ridge, perched momentarily on a tree next to the North/Ross intersection, and then flew off to the N, disappearing over the NE fields. A wonderful sighting of a handsome adult.
