Detalles de la observación
A small, compact wren that worked quickly through fallen branches and logs along stream. I didn’t get great looks, but I did note that the bird was on the lighter brown side of the Pacific-Winter Wren plumage spectrum. My identification for the bird was made on the basis of it’s call, which sounds very similar to the “jimp” calls of a Song Sparrow to my ear. Pacific has quite different calls, and it’s currently conventional wisdom that they can’t be solidly told apart without hearing the bird. The bird called frequently while I was in the area. https://goo.gl/maps/89vkN3En9yKNiPY56
