Detalles de la observación
The bird was more active today. It got up and flew twice. The first time flying quite a distance west before returning to the same general area from which it departed. The second time it flew it again went west and then turned south heading into Bulwagga Bay and out of sight. Several minutes later I picked the bird up coming out of Bulwagga Bay and heading north. I followed it for quite some time before eventually losing sight of it. However, about 30 minutes later I refound the bird on the water straight out from the bridge but much further away than the area it has been frequenting the last 3 days. That being said, it was actively diving and moving south. It eventually swam beneath the Champlain Bridge moving as far south as the Crown Point “pier” before coming back north and taking up its regular position roughly 300 yards offshore.
