Juvenile individual. Large brown seabird with gray head and lighter gray body, long pointed wings, pointed tail with white band on upper tail coverts, loon like bill, thick medium length neck about equal to length of tail, coverts and scapulars have small white tips giving spotted appearance, strong flyer, viewed in feeding frenzy and entered river mouth twice while on patrol. Not horrible record photos, pretty good scope views! Likely same bird seen on west end of Lake Ontario since the 8th originally spotted by oldbird @ Grimsby/Stoney Creek (thanks for putting this on the radar).
