Detalles de la observación
Ok Curtis, here we go again with the sapsuckers. This one was nowhere near as photogenic as the ones from January and February as it stayed quite a ways up in a series of Eucalyptus trees right at the top of the Canyon Hole on the golf course. It took 30 minutes of waiting on this bird to move a few times to even get these pictures. See a few of its back, a few sideways pictures and a few frontal pictures. The extensive white line on the face and the moderate red bleed on the chest is why I am speculating that it a hybrid bird. As always let me know if I am wrong.
