***very rare. Found by Marshall Iliff, Luke Seitz, Jeremiah and Peter Trimble, Tim Spahr, Mark Faherty, and Matt Garvey as it flew in off of the ocean, calling overhead. Jess Johnson and I were several hundred yards away, and sprinted down the beach in response to a call from Luke, getting to see the bird as it took off, flew around overhead, and then headed off down the beach towards the mainland. Total time in the area was less than 10 minutes.
