Detalles de la observación
BirdNET thinks this is a Pileated Woodpecker, but it probably is NOT. So here is a recording. I listened to various woodpeckers known to be in this area. Norther/Gilded Flicker females have a similar call, but it is higher pitched and less robust. Also possibly a female Gla Woodpecker. Generally speaking, the Pileated Woodpecker does not do a two-toned call such as this one, but the Flicker recordings, while being two-toned, are still higher pitched and less robust. The only likely woodpecker I actually observed was Gila.
