Detalles de la observación
Observed adult Larus h. barrovianus GLGU. I saw this bird first briefly on evening of April 06 and some images were obtained. It was much smaller than typical Larus h. hyperboreus and caused some initial speculation that it was an Iceland Gull. It was a slightly larger than CAGU. It had a longer wing extension. It was seen sporadically over several days mainly eating larger dead suckers near openings in ice in both the Marsh offshore near Goose Hill and aeration openings on Wascana Lake.
