Terrible shot, not really even an ID shot. It was just too far away for my camera, but scope looks were pretty good.
Detalles de la observación
Continuing bird. Seen off of 96th for around 20-30 mins starting at around 8:40 AM. Small, short-legged shorebird. Shape and the way it moved was noticeably different from a Least Sandpiper. Reddish front. The bird was in a flock of mostly Western Sandpipers and Black-bellied Plovers, as it has always been when seen over the last few days. Seen with Ilya P, John R. and Sebastian P. Hard to keep track of among all the peeps, but much better look than the brief one I had last evening. While we had decent scope views, the bird was a bit out of reach to really record any field marks on my camera.
