Monotonous note at c350Hz - 16 calls - the calling can go on for several minutes. The rate is fairly consistent for the species - although there is also a more disyllabic, dooowup call that is can also be heard. Not particularly loud - as bird was quite distant. aA second bird, further away and at 90o to the first could also be heard for a while.
