Taken through binoculars in rocking canoe.

Found while canoeing on southwest shore. Large grebe. I think mostly breeding plumage but probably transitioning to non-breeding. Doesn’t look as fancy as most pictures. Yellowish bill, red on neck, dark on top of head, white on cheeks and dark back. Staying mostly within 500m? of west shore. Found it north west of giant weed patch on west shore. Approximate coordinates: 42.472339, -76.524273
